Showing age through simple lines was challenging, but very interesting to render it in a sequence
Retaining the identity, by identifying the signatures of a face, even though you actually are destorting those very signatures , is a challenge in itself, and I love to take them head-on. (Pun intended)
Fascinated by people, the human species, I tried my hand at portraits as a hobby in school days. The pencil is nudging me, and I can't igonre that for long. This, further paved way for the world of caricatures, the world of humorous species.

Amitabh 71 started off as an idea to gift the legendary actor with his caricature on his 71st birthday. However, Amitabh Bachchan is unarguably the tallest subject that offers himself to the widest range of caricatures through more than four decades of diverse roles.
So, befitting the span of the subject, I decided to pay an amazing and amusing tribute to Amitabh Bachchan in his 71st year with 71 iconic caricatures.
